HOW much should I pay for the course?

Please, click on Courses (here) and open the information for all Courses.  Then, click on the Course you need and the page with the price will be exposed.  Please, make sure you choose the right option under you course.  If you need full Courses, click on ORIGINAL.  Price of the book is not included into the total price for In Person Original Courses.  Students buy their Course manual upon arrival to their class.  You may buy your e-book Manual in advance at:  ShopCPR.heart.org website.  We need a copy of your receipt (bring it to your class or email it to us at: [email protected])
If you took Online part of the Course at: elearning.heart.org or via e-learning and you already have the ONLINE CERTIFICATE, please, click on SKILLS under the course you need.   
Payment for all Courses are accepted during your Class.  We do not accept any payments IN ADVANCE.

May i register for ONline portion of the course at websites other than onlineaha.org?

Yes, you may register for Online part of the course at other websites. 
​Go to elearning.heart.org and take the online part of your Course.  Please, make sure it is AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION online part of the course.  For the Skills part of the same Course  you need to TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 and indicate DATE and TIME, and how you would like to take your Skills Portion: IN PERSON.  After completion of Skills Portion, you will receive your AHA Certificate within few minutes.

How long does the course last?

The Full Course lasts 2 hours on average.  If you took the Online part of the Course at your own convenience and time, the Skill portion lasts 1 hour for all Courses. Please, make sure to email a Copy of your Online Certificate before your Skills Class.  Our email is: [email protected]

May I pay for my course in person upon arrival?

Payment are IN PERSON upon arrival.

Do You accept checks or credit cards?

 Payments for all Courses are accepted upon arrival.  We accept all types of cards and cash.

Do i pay separately for my course manual?

YES, for all IN PERSON Original Courses, you need to buy your own MANUAL for the Course.  Payment for e-book is processed via any types of CARDS upon arrival.  Payments for your Course and  MANUAL are separate.
If you already have your OWN 2020 Edition Manual for your Course, you must bring or email us a copy of your order receipt.
For All Renewal Course, you need to bring present CERTIFICATE and 2020 Edition e-book manual for your Course.

What is the difference between BLS provider Full Course and BLS provider Skills?

BLS Provider Full Course lasts 2 hours.  You will buy a 2020 Edition Manual upon arrival to your Class. It covers the entire BLS Provider Course. After Completion of this course, you will get the SAME DAY CERTIFICATION for this course.
BLS Provider Skills Course lasts 1 hour.  You must bring the Online Certificate taken at: elearning.heart.org to take this class or email it to us at: [email protected]  The name of Online BLS Course is "Heartcode BLS".  Do not buy a Course Manual if you take any Online Courses (paid).  After completion of the Skills Portion, you will get SAME DAY CERTIFICATION for this course.  Skills Portion may be taken IN PERSON after Completion of the Online Portion.

Is the same day registration available?

The Same Day Registration is available.  Please, call or TEXT us at: 718 755 9035 in advance on the Same Day to set up the time of your IN PERSON Class.

How far is your location?

We are located in Queens, Rego Park, NY.  It is near Queens Blvd in front of  Marshalls Store in Rego Park.  It is also near 63rd Drive Subway Station.  Our exact address is: 95-16 63rd Road, Rego Park, NY.  Please, go to our CONTACT Page here and you will see a map of our location.  You may also call or TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 on the day of your arrival to class and we will give you detailed direction if you are lost.  Use GPS or GOOGLE MAP to locate us.

what is advantage to register for Group training and what is minimum and Maximum amount of people in a group?  may i register for several groups at the same time?

Group Training is for 2 or more people for the Same Course. Advantage of Group Training is that companies, clinics, hospitals, offices, corporations and etc. may send their employees together for the same Training.  Or, coworkers, friends, family members decide to come together for the Training.  For Group Training (click here).  Minimum amount of people in any Group is 2 people.  The maximum amount for any Heartsaver and Family & Friends is 10 people in each Group.   Maximum amount of people for BLS, ACLS, PALS Healthcare Provider Courses is 6 people in each Group.  TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 and indicate DATE, TIME, how your would take your Course IN PERSON, and how many people are in your GROUP.

what is minimum age to register for a course?

The minimum age is 18 and above for all Courses, except Heartsaver K-12 Grades ( from Grades K-12).  
For Children from Kindergarten to 13 years of age, the students must be accompany by an adult.

Will i get an AHA Certification Card for any course?​

AHA CERTIFICATION CARDS are given the SAME DAY for all courses EXCEPT HEARTSAVER BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN and FAMILY & FRIENDS CPR Courses.
For Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen and Family & Friends CPR Courses you will get a Participation Card.
Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen Course Participation Card is valid for 1 year.
Family and Friends CPR  Participation card is valid for 2 years.
All AHA CERTIFICATION CARDS are valid for 2 years from the month you take a Course. Prior to Expiration Day, you need to TEXT us at: 718 755 9035 for Re-Certification to stay ACTIVE.

what happens if you took wrong online part of the course?

Blended Courses require you to take the ONLINE Part of your Course at: elearning.heart.org prior to registering for Skills part with us for the SAME COURSE.  Please, make sure you register for the appropriate Online Part of your Course.  Then TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 to choose DATE and TIME for Skills Class.
Unfortunately, if you take wrong Online part of the Course, you may not register for different Skills Courses.  ONLINE part and Skills Test must be for the SAME COURSE.  When you register for Online Part, please, pay careful attention if it is the same exact NAME of the Course.

how to get a gift certificate for family and friends cpr course?

TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 for reservations.
We will TEXT you as soon as we get your reservation.  Each participant for the Course may TEXT us to choose Day and Time the most convenient for them.  Or, we will contact them to invite them for the Course upon your request.  For INDIVIDUAL registration, a participant must be at least 13 and above.  For GROUP REGISTRATION, there is no age limits.  Everyone is welcome.  For people speaking other languages, please, bring a person who will translate ( a translator may be of any age).

may i take a course if i do not speak english?

YES, you must bring someone who will translate for you.  A translator may be of any age as long as he or she speaks ENGLISH.  Please, TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 and reserve your Class. You may speak any language and take any Course as long as you have a translator with you during your class.

What should i wear for the class?

You must wear comfortable shoes and clothes.  You will need to bend and to work on the floor a lot.  Make sure your outfit allows you to perform your Skills without any restriction of your motion.

What to do if i have difficulties loading your website pages?​

What happens if i fail a course?

Our classes are designed in such as way that failure rates are extremely low.  In case, if you fail a course, you will have REMEDIATION on the SAME DAY. We will dedicate more time to discover all your problems and answer all your questions before you PASS a Course.  So far, NONE of our Students have ever failed a course.

Is parking Space available for students?

Designated Parking Space is not available.  However, our Classes are in the location where you may always find a free Parking Space around our Facility.  In case, if you would like to park your car on a meter, you always have time during the class to use your meter.  Just, let us know!   Remember, Parking is FREE on Sundays and following Holidays when we are open:

5. Thanksgiving Day
6. Christmas Day

Is my AHA Card for the course valid in another state?

Yes, your AHA CERTIFICATION Card is valid in all States of the USA and Internationally as long as it is ACTIVE.

may i take a course if my aha card expired long time ago or i am unemployed?

Yes, you may take a Course, regardless if it expired long time ago, or you are a student, or unemployed.  Our Courses are for everyone and they are MANDATORY.

Why do i need CPR course?

A Heart may stop functioning Anytime, Anywhere, regardless of Age.  The main function of the Heart to pump Blood to all vital organs for oxygen and nutrient requirements is stopped.  As the result, all vital organs: brain, lungs, kidneys, liver, spleen and etc. die within short period of time if blood is not supplied to them.  It takes time for an Advance Life Support to arrive.  That time is very important for survival of all vital organs.  Your may restart the function of a Heart by learning How To CPR with us and keep all organs alive until Advance Life Support comes.  If you do not act, it might be too late.  Even if they restore the function of a Heart, all major organs will be dead and the person will not survive.  That is why your actions during this period are so crucial for survival of a person anywhere: at work, at home, elsewhere outside.  CPR COURSES are MANDATORY for EVERYONE.

may i bring my entire family for family & Friends CPR?

Yes, TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 for reservation. It is more interesting when you have Family and Friends Training because you already know each other well and you may even provide a Gift Certificate (click here) for them.There is no age limits if you  are registering for Family and Friends CPR.  

What is site-specific training for Heartsaver bloodborne Pathogen course?

Site-specific training is training that is provided by the student's employer and covers anything specific to the workplace and/or industry.  This information is provided by OSHA (refer to the Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogen Standard  29CFR  1910.1030).  After receiving Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen Course with us,  students take site-specific training at their workplace given by their employer.  Upon Completion of this course with us, all students receive a manual and a Participation Card that is valid for 1 year.  Prior to Expiration Date, you need to register for this course again for RECERTIFICATION to stay active.

What is maximum amount of students in a Group?

For BLS, ACLS, PALS Courses, maximum amount is 6 people in each group. 
For all Heartsaver courses, maximum amount is 10 people in each group. 
For Family & Friends courses, there is unlimited amount of people at any age in a group.

IS individual training available?

How Do i get a manual for the course?

You need to buy e-book Manual for all IN PERSON ORIGINAL Courses.  You may buy it upon arrival to your Class or prior at: ShopCPR.heart.org website.  Make sure you buy correct MANUAL!  CLICK HERE to Choose.  Any type of CARDS are accepted to purchase your e-book.  Bring a copy of the Order Payment Receipt for your e-book or email it to us at: [email protected] prior to your IN PERSON Class.
Payment for your IN PERSON Course is separate and accepted IN CASH upon arrival.
​If you take The Online Part of any Courses prior to your Skills Class,  you do not need Manual for your Course. I am anxious and not sure about my skills after I took my online portion of the course.

Not to worry!  We review everything prior your Skills Tests.  We answer all your questions before your take any tests.  None of our students fail a course.

Will i get enough time to complete my test?

Yes, we make sure you have enough time to complete your test.  Usually, our students finish their tests before the assigned time.

may i schedule my class during a week monday-friday?

All IN PERSON Classes ( Full or Skills Only for any Courses) are every day. You will receive AHA Certificate upon completion.
Exceptions are Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen and Family&Friends CPR. Students receive Participation Cards for them.

May I Schedule a class that is not listed on your schedule?

Yes.  Please,  text us 718 755 9035 to set up DATE and TIME, and if you would take your Course IN PERSON.
IN PERSON (Full, Renewal or Skills) Courses are every day.

What is combo course?

You may create your OWN Combo Course by choosing several Courses for the same Date and Time.  Please, click here for Courses.  You can take your COMBO Course IN PERSON.  The SAME AHA CERTIFICATION for either Option.

Does a Gift Certificate expire?

No.  A purchased Gift Certificate does not expire.  The Course Participant/ Participants may contact us any time and choose Date and Time.  Please, TEXT US at 718 755 9035

Are you open during Holidays?

Yes, we are open during all Holidays for IN PERSON Classes.  It is the best time for you to register for a class because there is no need to take day off your work or study and Parking is Free on Holidays.

will you come to our office to train our employees?

All Courses are provided at our location only.   If your facility has more than 10 employees, you may form several groups with 10 people in each group for any Heartsaver Courses.
For BLS , ACLS, PALS Healthcare Provider, maximum amount is 6 people in a group.   The amount of Groups may be UNLIMITED for all Courses.  For example, if your facility has 40 employees, and your facility needs any Heartsaver Courses, you will need to form 4 groups with 10 people in each group.  Send your groups to our location for Training.

My employer does not endorse or require me to take CPR training. Do i still need to register for CPR course?

Yes, you still need to take CPR Training because the Skills we provide are helpful at work, at home, indoor, outdoor and etc.  It is your responsibility to utilize your techniques especially at work where you spend your time the most.  Regardless of where you work, in Healthcare, Non-Healthcare, or homebound, unexpected things may happen to anyone: Adult, Child, or Infant.  Every Skill you master with us will make you confident, certain and satisfied especially when you restart the function of heart and bring an unresponsive person back to life.  Our Courses are for everyone who deals with people anywhere.  CPR Courses are MANDATORY for EVERYONE!

how long does it take to receive my Aha or participation card after i complete my course?

You receive your AHA or a Participation Card on the day you complete your Course.   WE PROVIDE THE SAME DAY CERTIFICATION FOR ALL COURSES.

11. Everyone receives THE SAME DAY CERTIFICATE for all Courses.

Do you verify the Online certificate which i bring to my skills class?

Yes, we always verify the ONLINE CERTIFICATE that you bring to your Skills Class through the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION website before you take Skills Portion of any Course.

does the online certificate have an expiration date if i need to take skills test?

Yes, the Online Certificate expires after 60 days of the date you took it online.  You must take Skills Test for the Same Course within this period of time.  Please, make sure you enroll for your Skills Tests as soon as you complete the Online Part of any course.  Print or Save your Online Certificate taken at:  elearning.heart.org and email it to us at: [email protected] prior to your Class.

how will my company benefit if i enroll my staff for Cpr training?

Our Courses are intended to make your Staff members efficient, proficient and aware of how to act in an extreme situation.  We are all human beings and our Heart may stop any time regardless of age.  All your Staff members will possess and master the Skills and Confidence on how to keep a person alive before any Advance Care arrival.  This knowledge will bring your Company, Clinic, Office and ets. to more reputable and professional level.  We are honored to inform that our Courses are designed for Healthcare, Non-Healthcare, Community, Family and Friends settings.  Our Skills are useful at work, at home, and everywhere else where immediate actions are needed to bring an Unresponsive Person back to LIFE.

what kind of supplementary training materials and equipment are available for my training?

All students buy a Manual for a Course upon arrival to the class ( except the Online Courses Participants). The Classes are designed as a combination of Videos, Class Discussions, Posters Review.  All Questions are answered immediately upon emerging.  Multiple equipment is available to practice Skills:  Adult, Child, and Infant Manikins.  In addition,  usage of Pocket Masks, Bag Masks, and Feedback Devices are demonstrated.  Training is provided in a Highly Professional and Friendly Environment.  Each Student is Confident taking the TESTS and ready to Utilize the Techniques Mastered during a Course upon its completion.

What does REcertification mean?

  Your AHA Card is valid for 2 years.  Prior to Expiration Date, you need to register for your Course again to keep your status ACTIVE.  You may register for the Same Course, in two possible ways:
1. Full Course with us ( you will need to buy or bring your e-book Manual for your Course)
or 
2. A combination of Online Part taken at:  elearning.heart.org and Skills Part taken with us.  TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 to set up DATE and TIME, and indicate if you take your Course IN PERSON.  For Skill Portion, you do not need to purchase e-book Manual because the Online Portion covers all information you need for your Skills Portion. 

are there any benefits for our facility to send a group of students for Heartsaver Bloodborne pathogen course?

Yes.  Main benefit is that all your facility members would be Skillful on How To Prevent themselves and others from Pathogens existing everywhere.  Their knowledge and expertise will bring the quality of your Services to much higher level.

I am unable to print my online certificate for the first portion of a Course? 
​ May I E-mail my online Certificate instead of printing it prior to my skills test?

Yes, you may e-mail your Online Certificate for the First Part of a Course instead of printing and bringing it to your Skills Test class.  Our e-mail is: [email protected]

I took my first online portion for the course elsewhere and i have my online Certificate. May I register for the Skills portion of my course on this website?

Yes.  If you have your Online Certificate printed for the first portion of your course elsewhere, you may register for Skills portion.  Remember, The Online Portion and Skills Portion must be for the Same Course and through American Heart Association.  Also, remember, your Online Certificate is valid for 60 days within which you must register for your Skills Portion of your course.  Email your Online Certificate to: [email protected] and TEXT US at: 718 755 9035 to set up DATE and TIME and how you would take Your Course.

I live outside New york state.  May I take a course?

 All our Courses must be taken IN PERSON for NY State.  BLS and Heartsaver Courses may be taken Virtually if you work outside NY State.

is "ACLS or PAlS Precourse self assessment and Precourse Work" Course mandatory for ACLS or PALS provider Course? What Courses should I take  online if i register for ACLS or PALS Provider Skills only?

Prior to ACLS or PALS Provider Full Course, you must take the following online course:
"ACLS (or PALS) Precourse Self Assessment and Precourse Work" (at no cost) at cpr.heart.org AHA e-learning website and bring or email the Results of Self-Assessment and PreCourse WORK Certificate to: [email protected]

For ACLS(or PALS) Provider Skills only, your must take 2 online Courses:
"Heartcode ACLS(or PALS) Online" and
"ACLS(or PALS) Precourse Self-Assessment"(at no cost) at elearning.heart.org  Bring or email Both: The Online Certificate and Results of Self-Assessment prior to your ACLS or PALS Provider SKILLS Class,  Our email is: [email protected]

My name on the Online Certificate is incorrect.  can you change it during Skills portion for the same course?

The name on your Certificate for your Course will appear exactly the same as written on your Online Certificate.  When you take your Online Portion of the Course, make sure your name is correct or if mistake is made, contact elearning.heart.org and inform them that you entered wrong name.  Print the Online Certificate with correct name and bring or email it to us at: [email protected] prior to Skills Class.  The Name on the Online Certificate and Certification Card that you receive upon completion of your course must match.

why do i need to claim my aha certificate or e-card?

After completion of your course, you must claim your e-card received by AHA via e-mail.  We provide info how to do it.  Please, claim your card as soon as you get it via e-mail.  Then, print your Certificate (use Photo paper).  AHA Certification is valid for 2 years.  CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTION.

What should I bring for ACLS/PALS provider class?

There are prerequisites for ACLS or PALS Provider Class.  Your should go to elearning.heart.org and complete ACLS/PALS Self Assessment Test and ACLS/PALS PreCourse Work (as one free course).  Please, take PreCourse Work first to watch all given videos and them complete Self Assessment Test.  After completion, print the results of Self Assessment Test first( it can not be saved!), and then save ACLS/PALS PreCourse Work Online Certificate.  Email all results to: [email protected]. NOTE: Cost of e-book Manual is separate from the total cost of a Course.
If you would like to take ACLS/PALS Skills portion only, then you need to to go to: elearning.heart.org and take the following:  HeartCode ACLS/ PALS Online ( paid course) and ACLS/PALS Self Assessment Test (free course). 
Please, take HeartCode ACLS/PALS Online first, and then Self Assessment Test.  Bring or email the results of ACLS/PALS Self Assessment Test and HeartCode ACLS/PALS Online Certificate prior to your Skills Class.  If your Take Skill Portion, you do not need to purchase e-book Manual.
Notification:   ACLS/PALS Self Assessment Test may be taken as many time as you need to get passing score of >70%.

I LOST my aha certificate.  What should I do?

If you lost your AHA CERTIFICATE and It is active, you may always find it at: www.heart.org/cpr/mycards at any time.
Simply enter your First and Last Name and Email address( used to register with American Heart Association).
